Lucinda O’Connell

Lucinda is a highly talented and very well respected vocalist and musician. Her career began whilst studying for a HNC in popular music. After performing on ‘BBC Song For Christmas’ she then went on to perform on ‘A Royal Gala For Prince Charles’ alongside stars such as Robbie Williams and Geri Hallowell.

Lucinda’s next big television appearances came performing as Natalie Imbruglia on Granada televisions 'Stars in their eyes' and reaching the finals of 'Pop Idol' performing alongside Will Young and Gareth Gates.

As the anniversary of 911 approached Lucinda was asked by the Fire Service National Benevolent Fund to represent them as the official ‘Fighters Sweetheart' when she then sang live at St Pauls Cathederal on Fire Fighters Day Of Remembrance.

Lucinda arrived in Spain in 2003 and soon became a popular name within the entertainments industry. She was asked by 60’s star Don Fardon to sing the title track on a multi artist cd in aid of the orphaned Zulu children of Gods Golden Acre in South Africa which she then returned to the Uk to promote.

When Lucinda came back to Spain she became lead vocalist with 7-piece band ‘Blacknight’ (formally known as Reckless). They performed at many Fiestas and large events for the following 2 years.

Lucinda is currently singing in different venues all over the Costa’s including the prestigious Benidorm Palace where she recently supported¬† Joe Longthorne. She now performs shows both as a solo artist and as a Celine Dion tribute. She has been a member of Abba Elite since 2011.
